As part of a multistate project addressing microbial #foodsafety, researchers, educators and designers at New Mexico State University, UMass Center for Food, Agriculture, and the Environment (CAFE), and Iowa State University - College of Agriculture and Life Sciences worked together to design a fun, interactive game to convey food safety concepts. Indigenous Peoples and Nations in British Columbia have a long and rich history of practicing food sovereignty. This discussion paper was researched and drafted by Tea Creek to inform BC Indigenous Advisory Council on Agriculture and Food's strategic objective to advance Indigenous food security, food sovereignty, and resiliency.
