It’s always a rewarding experience to gather honest feedback-both the successes and the areas we can enhance as we continue to support our customers’ ambitions and the transformative journeys they’re on. Their insights are invaluable as we strive to provide the innovative solutions and proactive support they need in this dynamic market. Spending time with both our customers and our dedicated employees is, for me, one of the most energizing aspects of the role. In just two days, I had the privilege of connecting with over 20 Fujitsu colleagues and hearing their aspirations, questions, and insights. This summer, I had the opportunity to visit our supplier, Tata Consultancy Services, in Chennai. Reflecting on Albert Einstein's acknowledgment of the significant contributions of India – after all they were the ones teaching us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have made. First and foremost, I want to thank Krishnamurthy L. for the perfect organization of the visit. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, making the trip extremely productive and worthwhile. My key takeaways from the days spent on-site include: 1. Integrate your environment: It's essential to educate your partners and suppliers about the core of your business. When they truly understand and embody your mission, it fosters more effective collaboration. Ideally, you even have someone who is customer-centric and respresents you requirements within their own company. Thank you, Srilatha Danda, for your significant contribution and great partnership, you highly deserve the "Best #CustomerCentricity" Award! 2. Engage in strategic conversations: Discussing industry disruptions and strategic ideas with diverse perspectives is priceless. Each of our locations offers unique insights, and provides new ideas on how to develop the TelCo and TowerCo business further. Special thanks to Sujatha Gopal (CMI CTO) for the memorable reflections and enriching discussions at eye-level about the future of our industry. 3. Connect with employees at ALL levels: Engaging with employees beyond upper management, through team lunches or outdoor activities, is as crucial as formal meetings. It is vital and refreshing to see the commitment and listen to the ideas from those actively working on the topics that in reality drive your company forward. 4. Experience real-life scenarios: Immersing yourself in real-world use cases enriches your decision-making. The e2e-billing solution demonstration, where I acted as the contact manager, was particularly eye-opening. Thanks to Thorsten Riechers for this valuable experience - what a successful GoLive! India is truly unique, and the time spent there was incredibly rewarding.
