🌍✨ Celebrating 70 years of scientific excellence! On September 29, 1954, CERN was born, marking a new era in global fundamental research. Yesterday, in Meyrin, we had the privilege of celebrating this milestone in the presence of many of the world's leading figures in science and policy. As we reflect on CERN's incredible journey, we also look forward to its exciting future with projects like the Future Circular Collider (FCC) — a testament to the forward-thinking spirit that has always driven this institution. CERN has firmly anchored itself not just in Geneva, but on the world stage, becoming a beacon of European vision and global leadership in scientific research.
