Social media jobs are so underestimated... - Recruiters want 24/7 engagement, but offer 9-to-5 pay. - The only thing that grows faster than the workload is the unpaid overtime. - They expect us to go viral on a salary that can barely pay for Wi-Fi. #linkedincreators #hiringalert #corporatehumour #tragedy #lifeisameme #socialmediamanagers #linkedin #contentcreator

One last thing, I strongly advise any young person interested in this business to avoid any job in the manufacturing side. You will be abused by management in a job that is chronically understaffed. You will be forced to work countless hours and overtime to make unrealistic expectations. Get a degree and go into management

A big misassumption in recruiting.. You can make a lot of money quickly. But for the amount of output and long hours required in your first year.. You’d probably be better off working an hourly job that pays overtime. Because for you to start reaping the rewards, it will take 2+ years. And many don’t have the patience or willingness to work hard for that long. But those very few that do, gain the financial reward long term. And yet, people will assume that they are lucky or natural-born recruiters. But they are not, they simply did the hard work and practiced delayed gratification. Quality sometimes comes with a short term penalty called time. But, what happens when you are forced to work overtime to achieve deadlines? Are the developers only responsible for the quality? Making developers work overtime to deliver the features quickly, could only deteriorate the quality instead of improving it. Everyone from top to bottom hierarchy should understand this. Delivering features in fast pace may have short term benefits but in the long run they make the code complex and unmanageable. On the other hand, writing quality code may take some time initially but it would have long run positive impact, keeping code clean and managable, and eventually help to ship new features quickly. You don't need to work overtime to release high-quality software products on time.

However, it's crucial to ensure that your average pay for all hours worked doesn't fall below the National Minimum Wage. Are you paid overtime in your current job? Are you looking for an employer willing to pay you for additional hours worked? Get in touch with us today to explore options! #FairPay #HospitalityIndustry #CareerOpportunities #Overtime
