The internship season is about to be in full swing. For the companies the excitement of welcoming fresh faces and new ideas is always intriguing. It is one of the quickest ways to infuse a company with a refreshing breath of fresh air that can have a long time impact on company culture and perspective. For my interns it is an exciting time to get hands on experience and gain invaluable insights into what could be your future. As you embark on an incredible journey this Summer, be adaptable, be curious, be open to what's possible. You have the opportunity to impact and influence. There may be times when you feel like you are drinking from the ocean and completely overwhelmed. I challenge you to give yourself some grace, ask questions, and trust your process. This is the time when you begin to understand and actualize the concepts and theories that you have studied. Document the Journey Enjoy the Moment Soak up the Knowledge Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.
