As a Chemical Engineer or a Mechanical Engineer with 5 years of working experiences in Food Industry might be tougher for you to join Oil & Gas Big Corporations. You may ask yourself the following questions :
(1) Have you worked before with big machines such as pumps, compressors, steam turbines, gas turbines, turbo expanders, refrigerant compressors, furnaces, reactors, boilers, water treatment system, water water treatment system?
(2) Have you involved with trouble shooting of big machines on process or mechanical parts?
(3) Do you have confidence in giving
instructions to your highly experienced Technicians with 10 - 30 years of plant experiences?
(4) You might be a Senior Executive or a Manager in your current company, but the new company might just offer you a position as a Junior Executive only.
(5) Your current position might be a permanent one, but the new company might offer you a contract position.
(6) During your probation of 6 months with the new company, you have to perform or else you might be terminated subsequently.
