« You’ve probably seen or heard about the epic laser show on the Eiffel Tower for the Olympic Opening Ceremony. If not, go and check it out on YouTube - super epic! It really shows that lasers are one of the best visual spectacles possible today.
Just thought I’d share a few insights:
The laser show was done by the Belgian company LSE by Laser System Europe, with 24 x Pico, 4x 120w, 52x 60w, 12x Phaenon, 2x 600w (on the top of the tower). Designed by Patrick Awouters
Another instesting factor was the rain. It would have massively increased brightness of the show, because the beams reflect off the rain drops in the same way as smoke/haze. Without the rain, the lasers would have been a lot dimmer and a blue colour (air particles don’t reflect green and red as well as blue).
The weather can make an outdoor beam show in effective (if the wind blows the smoke/haze in the wrong direction), or it can make it mind blowing - just like this show. The unknown Mother Nature factor is part of the excitement in doing these shows.
They probably didn’t get a chance to do a rehearsal, because it would have given away the surprise of the show if it got onto social media. So it would have been everyone’s first time seeing it on show night - (update there was a rehearsal)
Lastly, how does a Belgian company get one of the biggest fleets of high power lasers in the world? My guess is doing shows in the Middle East, which can be incredibly lucrative »

⚠ Cenex Expo - Important Travel Update - Reminder ⚠
Due to ongoing roadworks to upgrade the National Power Infrastructure, you are very likely to suffers delays on your journey to hashtag
#cenexexpo2024 and should allow an extra 30 minutes travel time, if travelling by car.
In order to minimise any disruption, cars and light vans (up to 7.5t GVW) should avoid Marston Moretaine and approach Cenex Expo from the South, using the A507 (direct link to the M1/A1/A421) and coming through Millbrook village, following the event signage to the relevant entrance.
Vehicles over 7.5t GVW should follow the route through Marston Moretaine, but should expect significant delays as the roadworks are before the entrances to Cenex Expo.
We are sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause, but these circumstances are beyond our control.

The Most Complicated Watch Ever Made
The Aeternitas Mega – the most complicated wristwatch in the world - is the pinnacle of success in the art of watchmaking in terms of complexity and complications. With 36 complications and 1’483 components, the Aeternitas Mega is a wonder of micro-mechanic and watchmaking know-how. Wholly manufactured in-house, each of the 1,483 components, was designed to give the watch an elegant design in the pure traditions of the old “cadraturiers” of the Vallée de Joux. The name of the Aeternitas comes from Latin and means eternity. It is in tribute to the eternal calendar in the Aeternitas Mega that follows a 1000-year cycle renewable to infinity.

I'm very happy to finish this short course on how routes are being created with Expo Router and how simple this new approach is, especially when it is necessary to mix different types of navigation.

Back to Barcelona, coming from a new edition of Intertraffic, the flagship fair in the parking sector that takes place every 2 years.
In the previous edition, I could still feel the effects of the pandemic so for this time I was a bit afraid to see if the exhibition had fully recovered regarding the number of visitors..., and finally, just after two days (and still at the equator of the exhibition) I can say that I am returning glad and satisfied. 😊
👉 Glad to see that the exhibition does not only reach it's normal attendance figures but seems it is growing.🤜
👉 Glad to see the interest by our customers (and new leads) in our products and solutions for efficient parking.👏👏
👉Satisfied that our new products and solutions are very well accepted and our continuous development is recognised. Such as the electric vehicle charger eNext Park T-Two with dual three-phase socket💪so convenient to reduce Opex and Capex to our customers. Or the new outdoor parking solution based on the Falcon sensor for counting, guidance and video surveillance.
👉And finally satisfied with the people who made all this possible, starting with our booth provider, followed by our Marketing and Communication team (lead by Judith Lagunas , Meritxell Cazorla Mestres , Mireia Parra Gómez , Roger Terricabras Capdevila ) that often they are under too much stress to achieve the visuals (like the new video released two days ago), leaflets, post, etc..., and last but not least to the overall commercial team, so involved and passionate on their aim to explain our great solutions, and to support our customers in their business.
