This week we come to the end of a remarkable era, as violist Jane Hazelwood takes her final bow with the Sydney Symphony. Her retirement marks the end of an extraordinary musical legacy spanning generations, beginning in 1952 with her father, Donald Hazelwood, and continuing through her almost 30 years tenure in our Viola section.
