We’re proud to announce that our collaborative research on Lateral Extra-Articular Tenodesis (LEAT) in ACL reconstruction has been published in the KSSTA Journal. The findings demonstrate that while LEAT doesn’t directly enhance graft healing, it significantly reduces graft tunnel widening. This is an important consideration in reducing the risk of re-injury following ACL reconstruction, supporting better patient outcomes. Research like this helps us refine surgical techniques and improve care for patients worldwide. Read the full study here: https://lnkd.in/gr5s4wXj

New review on the European Heart Journal 💻 The HeartSim research team at PrediSurge, in partnership with the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and Hôpital Saint Joseph of Marseille, has contributed a significant study to the European Heart Journal Cardiovascular Imaging, demonstrating the precision of our PlanOp® Structural Heart software in simulating Mitral Valve interventions. This work, which reflects an impact factor of 6.3, marks an important advancement in the field of cardiovascular care. Our research focused on a case study involving a 73-year-old patient, successfully treated with a Mitraclip XTL® for severe mitral regurgitation. The application of our finite element prototype software accurately predicted the outcomes of this intervention, offering a promising tool for future cardiovascular treatments. This publication underscores the potential of digital simulation technologies to improve patient outcomes and supports our ongoing commitment to innovation in healthcare: https://bit.ly/3U9ILhW 🌐 #cardiovascular #care #digital #solutions #planop #clinicians #technology #digitaltwin

🌟 Ending a Year Full of Fascinating Clinical Cases with a Remarkable One As this year draws to a close, which has been filled with numerous intriguing clinical cases, I want to highlight one particularly remarkable one that showcases the complexity and wonder of the human vascular system: - Right aortic arch - Aberrant left subclavian artery with Kommerell's diverticulum with associated tortuosity of the subclavian artery (<50% stenosis at the origin) - tracheal compression The combination of these anomalies led to a subtle yet significant tracheal imprint, which was studied non-invasively in detail using virtual bronchoscopy. As we approach the end of the year, it’s a great moment to reflect on the continued advancements in medical imaging and technology that help us provide better care for our patients. Looking forward to more breakthroughs and challenges in the year ahead! Wishing everyone a peaceful holiday season and a healthy New Year! 🎄✨ #cardiacimaging #GHSC #VascularAnomalies #VascularRing
