Digital twins, it's really cool in the healthcare sphere because you can kind of make a digital twin of a human that kind of, you can make a digital twin of a person. And it's going to start by making what's called a digital thread. And a digital thread is going to be a collection of all of the medical records tracking from like health devices like pacemakers or wearable devices. Like if you have a Fitbit, I guess sending all that and connecting it and sending it over to your digital twin or your representation. And then doctors can then use all that information in order to simulate how would you respond to specific medication that can try out different procedures on your virtual or digital twin and find out which one is going to have the best outcome considering your specific health circumstances and then apply that to you. So it's significantly lowers risk and it almost removes the need for doctors to see the person or the patient in person for multiple visits.

Very insightful interview with Arthur, Mistral AI CEO. Main takeaways I got: - Mistral will release a brand new multi-modal model - They will release automatic fine-tuning services which lets you not deploy and fine-tune it yourself - By being in Europe, state-baked funding played an important role which is usually not the case when you start in the US (where you must leverage mainly on private funding) - Is open-sourcing your model's weights REALLY open-source? Should you also open-source your dataset to make it truly an open release? #GenerativeAI #LLM #Mistral
