Stop shooting in the dark. Sales is an output metric. But a bunch of things impact sales. Looking at media metrics doesn't really give you insight into what is working and what isn't. The framework is fairly simple. Solve for both Efficiency - maximising results with minimum spends Effectiveness - impact on consumer, change in brand metrics, combination of media strategy and creative execution. Setting up a regular brand track, ideally monthly helps you solve for effectiveness, gives you impact of both creative and media.
