1wHi. Nice job Syngenta. I'm Kenyan citizen age 47. I have passion and interest in Farming and Agribusiness. I love horticultural farming especially tomato farming. I've been practicing it for the last 14years in my village in Migori county Kenya. I've been recycling seeds since 2008 but last year, a friend adviced me to try Rafano F1 from Syngenta (open field). I managed to raise some money and bought 1000 tomato seedlings from Growpact Seed Propergators. That was in October 12, 2023. Believe me, by December 15, 2023, I was already harvesting. I also realized that Rafano F1 tomatoes are tolerant to most of field diseases. The harvest is relatively good compared to other varieties. I also appreciate guidance and farming tips on chemicals and nutritions. I would like to continue with my passion of modern farming. But I'm challenged on funds. I dropped out of school due to financial incapabilities at Form One and stayed home for 15 years, got married became a father. Recently, in 2010, I decided to go back to school at age 33 and did KCSE at age 35. I'm currently doing my Diploma in Counseling Psychology. The challenge of educating myself as well as my children is with me. Kindly Syngenta and fellow farmers, Fund my farming project 🙏
