Using cutting-edge AI and expert insights, the supermarket chain paints a picture of a radically different future food landscape, which could include: - Lab-grown steaks and seafood - The rise of alternative insect proteins including locusts, grasshoppers and crickets - New fast-growing plant species such as Azolla, a freshwater fern - Avocados and olives being commercially grown in the UK These changes aren't just about novelty ; they're driven by necessity.
