2024 Florida Supercon | VR Metrics 897 Players 1249 Sessions 26.4% New to VR 633 Gameplay hours Cookout (152 Hours) Blaston (85 Hours) Real VR Fishing (82 Hours) We operated within a 50x50 exhibit space and had 40 VR stations active from multiplayer content to single player sit down experiences. We utilized our 5G gateway solution with Tmobile and AT&T to support management, kiosks and multiplayer games with 99% uptime during gameroom hours. Our VR activation was assisted by Digital Tales, a local VR studio in Miami, to host VRider, a motorcycle racing simulator. We dedicated 6 VR HMD’s and was enjoyed by 152 individuals accumulating 66 gameplay hours. Concurrently, we had dedicated 6 VR HMD to Real VR Fishing with 109 players and the 3rd most popular title. Both sims tracked well with great feedback. Unfortunately, VRider multiplayer was unstable due to the high jitter of the 5G network on location. Fruit Ninja and Space Pirate Trainer had great appeal considering we operated shared leaderboards that resulted in high participation and repeat sessions throughout the weekend, but engagements focused mostly on multiplayer games. Two dedicated Drop Dead: The Cabin stations were to showcase mixed reality and the Quest 3 with wait times reaching 3 hours. Cookout remained the top pick as a family friendly co-op game. Our operation allowed for additional cookout sessions into the general VR spots. Gaming utilization was lower than expected as attendees were slow to enter into the gameroom each day, but once it picked up, the game room was lively till 11pm. During peak demand, we were not able to service over 120 individuals due to long wait periods.

World Of Warcraft VR Mod Released. When someone refers to "nostalgia goggles", this is an example of what they mean. This is my memory playing WoW 20 years ago (20 years...wow). This mod was 10 years in the making bringing World of Warcraft to full 6DOF VR with Motion Controls. The VR mod supports: ➤ Directional audio ➤ Synced eye rendering ➤ Ability to switch between 3rd & First Person, ➤ Floating UI ➤ Inside the game world with full occlusion ➤ Supporting all addons, ➤Motion controls And more More game studios, if not all, should embrace modding and their modding community. Allowing players to inject their own creativity into the game fosters the development of new experiences and content, keeping the gameplay fresh and enticing for existing players while attracting new ones, thereby expanding the game's audience. Another VR Villa game room completed! This makes it the 33rd convention for 2024! The unique aspect of this game room is focusing on player experiences, sit down content and heavily transitioned to team based co-op games like Cookout and Demeo from Resolution Games as I knew I'd be limited on staffing help. Average playtime was 44 mins with Cookout and 70 mins with Demeo. A number of players attempted to play a full campaign with some sessions lasting over 3 hours. We squeezed in over 2 dozen headsets about 1000 sqft of space and pulled in some big con metrics. We had 100% utilization rate from open to close all three days. When you give players the ability to play games, they will come and rope in their friends. We hosted MR content such as Laser Limbo and Drop Dead the Cabin, but still great entry options like Fruit Ninja and Space Pirate Trainer. If only Meta turned us into an authorized retailer, could we actually sell VR systems directly to gamers who ask us every 5 mins if we are selling these headsets and accessories. A number of folks on Friday went out to Walmart, bought a brand new Quest 3s and I personally helped them set them up at the game room and they played next to us on their own systems! 2024 NekoCon | Metrics Players: 491 Sessions: 559 New to VR: 23.4% Gameplay Hours: 414 Cookout (145 Hours) Demeo (119 Hours) Fruit Ninja (37 Hours)
