This technique is a brilliant application of majority voting in AI. Here’s how it works: 1. Each algorithm analyzes the data and makes a prediction. 2. Every algorithm "casts a vote" for its predicted outcome. 3. The final prediction is determined by the majority of votes. I am excited to announce that along with Technology Innovation Institute senior researchers Martin Andreoni, Willian Tessaro Lunardi, and Dr Shreekant (Ticky) Thakkar, our paper on Enhancing Autonomous System Security and Resilience With Generative AI: A Comprehensive Survey has now been published. We took a deep dive into the different types of generative AI and how they can be applied to improve the security, safety, and resilience of systems of systems across individual autonomous things like drones, collections of them, human drone interfaces, and cybersecurity. One particularly novel aspect of this research is we look at how to think about extending the zero trust paradigm from the cybersecurity domain to also consider some of the challenges of bolstering safety and resilience. No data can be synthesized without real data. This has concerns of copyright infringement. Meanwhile, one critical element is missing here to make any data technologies, including AI, work: metadata. Metadata is an enabler for data analytics, whose purpose is to find the data we want. Is there any AI data products you know that can interpret and answer the following Chinese-English questions of data analytics? With our intellectual property (IP), we can provide real time answers for decision/policy making, with evidence. Here's a recent report from Gartner. What caught my eye is the rise of synthetic data ... Experts say that Data is the new oil in today’s age of AI - yet, one wonders that does this mean where only few can truly understand the implications of this notion. Synthetic data is annotated information that can be generated by computer simulations or algorithms as an alternative to real-world data. In other words, synthetic data is created in digital worlds rather than collected from or measured in the real world. Mostly, it may be artificial, but synthetic data reflects real-world data, mathematically or statistically. Such data simulates plausible real-world data which may not have been collected from the limited spectrum of experiences. Such data can complement the bias in the collection of real-world data. Research demonstrates it can be as good or even better for training an AI model than data based on actual objects, events or people. In a report on synthetic data, Gartner predicted by 2030 most of the data used in AI will be artificially generated by rules, statistical models, simulations or other techniques. This can be a game changer! It is a known fact that developers need large, carefully labeled datasets to train neural networks. It is also true that more diverse training data generally makes for more accurate AI models. The problem is gathering and labeling datasets that may contain a few thousand to tens of millions of elements is time consuming and often expensive. The rise of synthetic data - with properly defined parameters, artificially generated may costs much much lesser and within the switch of a well-defined simulation. That’s why developers of deep neural networks increasingly use synthetic data to train their models. The rise of synthetic data comes timely as more AI experts are rallying support for a benchmark or competition on data quality. More importantly, we must avoid the trap of confirmation bias that can skew AI models decision making.
