I am really passionate about the interview process being a two-way conversation where the candidate feels at ease and they perform at their best. I also appreciate those candidates who ask lots of questions. After all, you need to be the right fit for them too. Ensure you're confident in your candidate choice—if they’re not the right fit, they may leave or require extra support and before you know it, you’ve lost nearly a year! #RecruitmentProcess #TalentManagement #InterviewProcess

A client provided feedback on a candidate sharing that they were very 'me' oriented and self-focused. During the interview, the candidate consistently framed their responses around personal gain and how this experience would benefit them. While their experience and skillset were spot on, the candidate's word choice here eliminated them from consideration. It's crucial to be mindful of the tone of an interview. Prioritize discussing how you can contribute to the hiring manager's needs and what value you bring to the table for the organization. #interviewtips #headhunting #recruitment #interview

What’s the best way of keeping candidates engaged during an interview process? 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 ✅ On a weekly catch-up with one of my favourite clients this morning, one topic of conversation was how invested our candidates are in their interview process. This is because of the effort made to communicate quickly and clearly at 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 step of the process. The candidate gets direct feedback via email 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 🙌 Not only that; they are informed of what’s involved in the next steps and what availability they have to book this in 👏 I know, it sounds so simple and obvious. But it makes a 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 difference 💯 It builds credibility, trust and ensures that positive momentum is maintained in the process. #recruitment #recruiter #recruiters #recruiting #hiring

One of my favourite pieces of advice to get the most out of your recruitment strategy is to make the candidate feel comfortable. Show them that you want to see their true potential and real selves in the short time you have with them in an interview. When candidates understand the hiring process is a two-way interaction, this fresh approach will make them feel at ease right away, and they will therefore be able to make themselves stand out! #recruitmentstrategies #hiringtips #toptips
