A season that traditionally reminds us of warmth, generosity, and compassion. While I know that not a single day passes without us struggling to make sense of this dystopian world, I wanted to share details about two organizations I admire most. These organizations work tirelessly to ease the plight of families, especially children, affected by the ongoing genocide. Dr. Ghassan Abu Sitta FRCS(Plast), a British-Palestinian Associate Professor of Surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon served in Gaza during the genocide and now treats survivors in Lebanon.
