The government's substantial investments in over 2,000 projects of the railways sector, inaugurated by PM Shri Narendra Modi, is a step in the right direction. These projects will enhance the quality of commute by railways, and enhance safety of road users crossing a railway track. **Land Acquisition for Future City in Hyderabad: Progress in Action!** The government is making swift progress on the much-anticipated Future City development along the outskirts of Hyderabad. As part of this mega project, road construction has commenced with the issuance of land acquisition notifications. A 300-feet-wide Greenfield road, spanning 6 lanes, will connect from Outer Ring Road (Exit 13) at Raviryala to the upcoming Skill Development University in Future City. This ambitious route requires 449.27 acres of land for acquisition, with a fair and transparent compensation process to benefit all landowners. The land acquisition covers key areas across Maheshwaram, Ibrahimpatnam, and Kandukur mandals, and follows the Land Acquisition Act 2016 and Rehabilitation Act 2013 guidelines. The government has also issued guidelines prohibiting transactions on this land under Section 11(4) of the Act, ensuring fair acquisition and protection for stakeholders.
