The Qcomm diaries: Part 2 What started off as an infatuation a few years ago, with its share of skepticism and "this shall also pass" comments, is not only here to stay, but here to disrupt.. and how. While I am not qualified to speak for everyone in my generation, I can say with a fair bit of certainty that we never could afford the luxury of being willing to pay a price for convenience. This mindset change has happened over the last few years and a combination of multiple factors has led to people willing to pay a price for luxury (convenience as it's called now ). Whether it be zeptoing a white tshirt to wear at a theme based birthday party (I just did that because I didn't read the instructions ), to double clicking on that last minute gift / return gift for visitors (the types who always get gifts for you or kids and you invariably always end up having to reluctantly reciprocate ) Convenience is the new oxygen. some creative ad guy may start calling this Q-onvenience. Even though these are early days, I truly believe this is no short lived affair. This one's a keeper.
