Great dive into GA4, thanks Dana DiTomaso! My key takeaway is that every site owner should take an hour this month and look at (minimum) these 3 admin settings in GA4. Your 2025 data will be better for it: 1. Segments: Old Analytics was better at slicing visitor explorations in real time. GA4 only captures segment data moving forward, so any segments you want that aren't included in native GA4 need to be set up now. 2. Data filters: Filter out developer and internal traffic so you're not skewing performance. 3. Key events: Conversions are now called Key Events. Make sure the events you want (add to cart, play video, page scroll) are set up, key events are toggled on, and the correct counting method and associated $ values are defined. Okay, maybe more than an hour. 4? https://lnkd.in/eBym3rbf #googleanalytics.

📊 GA4 Workshop Wrap-Up! Over the last few days, I had the privilege of running an interactive workshop for our talented Growth Consultants, Advertisers, and Marketers at entity x®. With Google Universal Analytics now officially sunset, it was crucial for the team to transition to Google Analytics 4 (GA4)—a more powerful, flexible, and event-driven platform. 🚀 Key Highlights: - Funnel Analyses: Understanding how far users scroll, where they drop off, and how to optimize for better engagement. - Path Analyses: Tracing user journeys from key landing pages to high-value actions (shopping cart, conversion points, etc.). - Conversion Tracking: Setting up meaningful metrics and recreating key reports from Universal Analytics to GA4, ensuring we don't lose insights during the transition. These sessions were all about practical knowledge—taking theory and immediately applying it to real business scenarios. The team dived into custom reports and explored how GA4 can give deeper insight into user behavior than ever before. Special thanks to Theresa Rüther for her seamless coordination and keeping everything on track, and to Cornelius Radunz for his invaluable guidance. #GA4 #GoogleAnalytics4 #DigitalAnalytics #Workshop #MarketingAnalytics #GrowthConsultants #DataDrivenMarketing
