The introduction this year of the right to a week’s #CarersLeave was a welcome finale to many years of campaigning. But there is still much to be done, and this week’s theme of ‘putting carers on the map’ allows us to reflect on the next priorities. Working carers need support to balance #caring responsibilities with their jobs. To help employers, Business in the Community has fully updated its popular and practical #toolkit, ‘Supporting Carers in the Workplace’ https://lnkd.in/eKd6_UUn. The toolkit focus is on employer action and the business benefits on offer, including improved #productivity, reduced #costs, #skills retention and reduced pay gaps.
