Reel is actively engaged in developing new projects and is ready to support companies interested in Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). The new agreement for the Djursland Solar Park is a significant step for businesses in the green transition. Jon Sigvert, CEO and co-founder of Reel, excitedly added," This PPA marks a significant milestone in our journey to make renewable energy accessible and attractive for all companies, regardless of size. We are especially pleased that the solar park's power will benefit so many local companies, ensuring even greater local value creation. Energicenter Nord is dedicating part of the park to local wildlife, especially bats. They will plant fruit trees under power lines and wildflowers around the solar panels. The fence will be lifted 20 cm to allow animal movement. These initiatives were created in collaboration with the local community to balance climate and nature. 25 companies involved are: Aquaporin A/S, Arkitema, Baettr, Bobach Stålentreprise A/S, Brdr. Kjeldahl I/S, Combitherm A/S, Connected Wind Services Danmark, COWI, Danica Ejendomme, ExamVision, Gardit A/S, Genan, GPV, IDA, JP/Politikens Hus, Knebel Drilling A/S, Kvadrat, Lead Agency, SIF Gruppen A/S, SwipBox, Viggo, White Labs Inc., Hornslet Parish Council, Samsø Rescue Corps, and BI-plast. Morten Norup Fassov, Head of ESG at Danica Ejendomme, emphasises, "Danica Ejendomme views the collaboration with Reel and Energicenter Nord with great excitement, as it marks the beginning of our journey towards more renewable energy and, hopefully, more PPAs." Martin Romvig, CEO of Energicenter Nord added, "The new solar park in Mesballe is a prime example of how collaboration with local stakeholders ensures a project that benefits everyone. It’s this balanced approach that drives us, as a family-owned company, to develop sustainable, locally anchored energy solutions. #energytheory #PPA #energysector #decarbonizingenergysector #solarparks

The document outlines an innovative initiative for floating hydrogen production and aquaculture integration, divided into two phases: 1. Sea Rings Floating Marina: This phase emphasizes a modular, multi-use offshore platform for aquaculture and renewable energy production. The system integrates technologies such as vertical wind turbines, solar farms, underwater wave energy systems, and aquaculture. Key features include: •• Green hydrogen production from renewable energy. •• Provision of electricity, freshwater, and green hydrogen. •• Support for sustainable fish farming and energy solutions. 2. Lemuria Project - Floating Hydrogen Ports: This phase aims to develop floating hydrogen ports supporting large-scale hydrogen production to meet global net-zero goals. By 2050, hydrogen production is projected to rise from 90 million tons in 2021 to 532 million tons. Historical context of marine energy evolution from sperm whale oil to green hydrogen. EU-funded collaborative projects (e.g., MUSICA and TROPOS) focus on the integration of aquaculture and renewable energy for sustainable marine resource utilization. The initiative envisions large-scale maritime spatial planning, aiming to generate 1 GW of green energy per 400 square kilometers of sea space, contributing to a planned 60 GW hydrogen supply by 2050.

Mapecon Green Charcoal Philippines Inc’s (MGCPI) facility in Alaminos, Laguna is a hub for agricultural research and development wherein founder Mr. Gonzalo “Jun” Catan, Jr Catan continuously finds ways to improve his patented Green Charcoal. His son Mars Catan manages the facility. The principle of sustainability is at the core of the MGCPI’s production practices. In keeping with MGCPI’s values of caring for the environment and ensuring sustainability, the company in 2019 had a solar PV system installed on the rooftop of its main warehouse and storage facility. The installation is a 93.24kWp grid-tied system built with 296 units (315w/panel) and three SolarEdge inverters. For the last four years, the system has been helping MGCPI save at least P100,085 monthly or P1.2 million annually on electricity costs. By operating the system, MGCPI has sequestered 1,855 metric tons of carbon emissions, equivalent to the amount mitigated by 883,432 trees in 25 years. “We want to develop a paradigm wherein the use of solar technology is not just for cost-cutting and sustainability, but also for income generation. So many agricultural activities can be powered by solar energy, and we want Filipinos to know this. Not only do we save on electricity costs or contribute to climate change mitigation efforts by going solar – we can also generate profit. Free electricity from the sun should be maximized for income generation efforts– school, dioceses, institutions with sufficient land space can put up green projects powered by solar,” said Mr. Catan.
