Time for another #ITQLife interview 🎵 In this series, we shine a spotlight on our passionate ITQ colleagues, because passion is what drives us at ITQ. This time, we’re excited to feature 💡 Vincent Jansen, who shares his incredible passion for music. “Of course, we discussed technology and IT, but it was mostly about the passion for the profession and the people. I saw that at ITQ people come together with the same passion, drive and know-how.'” Make sure to read Vincent’s entire interview here: https://lnkd.in/eJJTKZT9

Have you got a great idea or a Jam Festival? 🍓 Ideas are great. I love ideas. The more ideas the better. I like big ideas the most. The bigger the shinier the better. Even bad ideas can lead to good ideas. So keep the ideas coming (you get the idea). However.... ... make sure the ideas you IMPLEMENT have goals. Smart goals. Goals that might be ambitious, but goals that are clear and understandable. Otherwise you'll end up with a 'jam festival'. Attached is a (very old) clip from the Chris Morris satire 'The Day Today'. The target wasn't necessarily good or bad ideas in this video, but since I first saw this, I always ask myself before getting to work on an idea, 'is this a jam festival?'. Are you working on any jam festivals now?! Have you worked on any jam festivals before? Share your stories in comment 👇 #jamfestival #ideas #employeeengagement #goals https://lnkd.in/eNa6ccqB

With the arrival of 2024 comes the 2024 festival circuit! We’ve already begun our festival attendance, with Development Manager, Rae, attending RealScreen East– the largest unscripted TV network event in the US – in early February! Attending industry events such as festivals is incredibly valuable for us at Legacy for several reasons! 🤝 Networking Goldmine: The power of face-to-face connections cannot be overstated. Engaging with fellow filmmakers, producers, and industry professionals has opened doors to exciting collaborations and partnerships that go beyond the festival circuit. 💬 Relationships Matter: Beyond the screening rooms, the informal gatherings and industry events have been a fantastic space for building genuine relationships. Personal connections foster trust and understanding, creating a solid foundation for future collaborations and projects. 📈 Market Insights: Attending panel discussions and workshops has given us invaluable insights into industry trends, emerging technologies, and market demands. Staying ahead of the curve is essential; these festivals provide the perfect platform for staying informed. 🚀 Spreading Legacy Goodness: It's not just about our films; it's about building the identity and ethos of Legacy Pictures. Our physical presence at these events allows us to showcase who we are, what we stand for, and the values that drive our creative endeavors. Film festivals aren't just events; they're a strategic part of our success story. The connections made, the insights gained, and the brand exposure achieved contribute to a holistic approach that positions Legacy Pictures for continued growth and success in the industry. Excited for the future and the opportunities that these festival experiences will bring to our passionate team! 🎉🎥 #LegacyPictures #FilmFestivals #Networking #FilmProduction #CreativeConnections #IndustryInsights #BrandBuilding #SuccessStory

I take pride in helping voice actors create transformative demos that showcase their unique talent. Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of working with Phil Cantone on his voice-over demo, and the results were fantastic! Phil was looking to get back into voice over after spending some time away. Together we crafted a demo that highlights his versatility and range, from energetic commercial reads to heartfelt narrations. The transformation was incredible, and Phil has been landing more auditions and jobs since. The demo production process focuses on three key principles: 1. Repeatable: Ensuring that the demo showcases your skills in a way that you can consistently replicate. 2. Believable: Creating authentic reads that connect with the audience. 3. Goal-Focused: Tailoring the demo to achieve specific career goals, whether it’s landing more auditions or securing high-profile gigs. Check out Phil Cantone’s demo below to hear the quality for yourself! And if you're ready to take your voice-over career to the next level, drop me a line and let’s create a demo that truly represents your skills and sets you apart from the competition! 🎙️✨ https://lnkd.in/gfkY69pj

This is different. I'm quite intrigued as this experience appears distinct from judging in other traditional festivals. To begin with, I must admit, the ethos behind the payment structure is something that resonates deeply with me. The fact that you only pay if you get shortlisted underscores the intention to contribute to the industry rather than solely profiting from it. It reminds me of what cresta did during the pandemic, offering free entries for all submissions – a generous approach that showed true industry support. I think the emergence of new festivals and forums like PHNX provides a healthy platform to keep important conversations going and, more importantly, to include a broader spectrum of talents in those discussions. I also like the diverse lineup on the jury. Many new faces. New voices and new perspectives. Each bringing unique perspectives and insights to the table. The standard of the work? It will be fascinating to see. I anticipate a unique benchmark, given the multitude of talents, business leaders, thinkers, and journalists from every corner of the world, each bringing diverse backgrounds and abilities. But - if we keep amplifying the same voices from all the traditional creativity festivals- are we really saying something new? #AdForumPHNX #creativity #awards #design

How close can we get to stars like Coldplay, Cardi B, & Red Hot Chili Peppers? Well, last week I think I got pretty close. I had the pleasure of spending a day facilitating great and open conversations with the fantastic team leading the development of Warner Music artists in Asia (an awe-dropping list of artists). Through plenty of activities and conversations, we touched on topics like cross-boundary collaboration, innovation, and team growth. I feel fortunate working with such an inspiring team and great leaders. I feel I am still carrying some stardust on me. I appreciate this unique opportunity. A big thanks to Brayden Crossley and Daniel Mascord for the great collaboration and insights. I invited you to get in touch if you'd like hearing more about our services
