Don’t limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. Personal Branding for Multi-Passionates | Certified Business Coach | Build an Authentic Online Presence and Reclaim Your Career
Starting a new job, you take your experience with you. But starting an online business: Most professionals get amnesia. → Feeling like they know nothing. → Cutting off their existing network. → Hitting delete on their entire career. → Forgetting about their leader energy. I've been wondering why this happens and my conclusion is it's because we've split corporate and entrepreneurship into two separate islands. Faaar far away from one another 🏝️ Entrepreneurship isn't an island you voyage towards. Entrepreneurship is the next natural step in your career. And what will help you blend these two islands into one badass career is: → Owning your story. → Clarity in your direction. → Confidence in your skills. → Pride in your personal brand. → Becoming the CEO of your career. If you're ready to merge these worlds, let's chat. You didn't come this far to only come this far. ✨

As a 'Solopreneur,' I once believed I could do it all. That was until my husband suggested getting a Virtual Assistant (VA) to lighten the load. At first, I resisted, convinced NOBODY could match my "unique skills". 🙄😏 How wrong I was! 😂😊😂 Starting with a project manager and then adding on a VA, with many mistakes sprinked in between... I learned the skills of delegation. Eventually, my team expanded to include: An online business manager (thank you Tracie S. of Prowess Project!😊); A social media strategy team (thank you Conner Krizancic of SpeakrBrand!😊); And a business coach (thank you Ali Caravella!😊). By opening up to the idea of asking for HELP, not only did I supercharge my productivity, I also discovered I was embracing my capacity to trust other people's incredible skills AND I was contributing to the micro-ecosystem of entrepreneurship. Hiring help isn't just about offloading work. It's about empowering other small-scale entrepreneurs and fueling a virtuous cycle of mutual growth. This journey reminded me of Amanda Palmer's wisdom in her terrific book "The Art of Asking". It's a lifeline for anyone afraid to reach out. If you're on the fence about getting help, remember: asking for help isn't a sign of weakness. It’s the KEY to success. #Entrepreneurship #TeamBuilding #ArtOfAsking #Solorpreneur

Dear aspiring ‘Entrepreneurs/ Solopreneurs, This post is for you, if you're in any of the categories mentioned. So take note. The journey you’re embarking on is more than a job. It's a way of life that will test and reward you in equal measure. Here’s my advice: ➛ As an entrepreneur, you must understand your ‘why’. It’s the driving force behind every decision and the anchor in any storm. ➛ Lean into the lean startup approach: Test your ideas cheaply, learn from the market, and adapt swiftly. ➛ Build a network that matters. Seek out mentors and peers who will push you to be better. ➛ Hone your sales skills. Whether pitching to investors or customers, clear communication is essential. ➛ Adopt a learner’s mindset. Every setback is an opportunity to grow Repost ♻️ to help others. P.S What other advice can you add to the list? - Drop it in the comments. - Follow Abdulrasheed - Have a productive week.

What Does an Entrepreneur Need? I've had a lot of people reach out to me about working with Hairiette of Harlem—mostly creative types. I totally understand; as someone who mentors writers, actors, singers, and other creatives, I know the appeal of diving into a creative venture. But what I need in my company—and what most creative folks need—is someone who does the opposite of what I do. I’m looking for a tactician and strategist, someone who excels in operations, management, and organization. The brass-tacks type. The yin to my yang! I’m always happy to chat about all things creative and even offer help when I can. But what I need most in growing my company is someone who complements my strengths by bringing in the skills I lack. I believe that’s true for most entrepreneurial types. So, here’s my advice: Go find someone whose work you admire, discover what they do, and offer the opposite. You might be surprised at how much they need you! #Entrepreneurship #BusinessGrowth #TeamBuilding #OperationsManagement #StrategicPartnerships #HairietteofHarlem #CreativeLeadership #Mentorship #Collaboration #YinYang #BusinessStrategy #ComplementarySkills #EntrepreneurialAdvice #StartupSuccess #WomenInBusiness #BigHairBooks

They’ve been there before and can provide insights. 💡 Networking? Other entrepreneurs face the same challenges. 💡 Competitors? Is it crazy to ask them for advice? Seeking advice from a competitor may seem risky, but it’s not unheard of in industries where collaboration and healthy competition thrive. Some of the best partnerships come from unexpected places. Ultimately, being a CEO means being open to learning from every source—even those you might think are your competition. Where do you turn when the questions keep coming?
