A Contributor refers to anyone who is required to provide information on the FAFSA form to determine a student's eligibility for Federal Student Aid, such as: • the student • a biological or adoptive parent and/or • a parent's spouse (a stepparent) • student's spouse Remember! 📢The 2025-2026 FAFSA application is now live at fafsa.gov for all students and families, the Department of Education announced today. The department said it will process submitted online forms in one to three days, and applicants will be able to make updates and corrections to the form. The paper form is also available.
