Takeo Apitzsch’s Post

Twitter is “gone”. Just like Google is “gone” - and part of Alphabet. In 2020 some YouTuber and Tesla investor Dave Lee made the suggestion, ironically via a Tweet, to call Elon Musk’s company X and create a parent company like Alphabet - well, he liked the idea and here is the result. Another side note: with this “merger”, Elon might be able to avoid any past liabilities from outstanding rents etc. - not exactly what we would call ethical business practice, but within his rights and many people do this. 🤷🏻♂️ #business #tesla #twitter #X #xcorp

I have stopped using twitter for a while, wouldn't be surprised if the engagements are nosediving now.

Mergers carry existing liabilities, not sure if you know what you're talking about. They don't just "disappear".

What's the part about a tweet in 2020? He's had X.com forever https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X.com

Your side note is the story -- and Musk has done little to build credibility regarding any of his plans since purchasing (read: overpaying) for Twitter.
