Job Title: Electrical Engineer, Power Sys ( PSO) Level A- Safety Sensitive Location: Chattanooga, TN Duration: 12 Months Our client has a need for an Electrical Engineer. If you have the background we are looking for, and you are interested in an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a leading company, we want to talk with you! Performing Specific Portions of a Broader Assignment: An experienced electrical engineer often works on a larger project or assignment, where they are assigned specific tasks or components to handle. This could include designing a circuit, testing a subsystem, or troubleshooting an electrical system. Applying Standard Electrical Engineering Practices and Techniques: Electrical engineers use established principles, methodologies, and techniques in their work. This includes applying laws of electricity, circuit analysis techniques, and standards relevant to their field (such as IEEE standards). Performing Calculations in Specific Situations: Calculations are a fundamental part of electrical engineering. Engineers calculate parameters such as voltage drops, current ratings, power dissipation, and signal characteristics to ensure the design meets specifications and safety requirements. Adjusting and Correlating Data: During testing or analysis, engineers often collect data. They adjust parameters or experimental setups as needed and correlate data to draw conclusions or validate design assumptions. Recognizing Deviations in Results: Experienced engineers have the expertise to identify when experimental or test results deviate from expected outcomes. This involves troubleshooting and diagnosing issues to ensure the reliability and functionality of electrical systems. Following Operations Through Detailed Steps or Processes: Engineers follow systematic approaches to tasks, ensuring that each step is completed accurately and in sequence. This includes following design processes, testing procedures, or manufacturing guidelines.
