It’s becoming increasingly challenging for us to accurately evaluate candidates when they can rely on AI to get through interviews and online assessments without actually having the necessary skills or knowledge. Right now, my go-to strategy is to “insist on the why.” I find that digging deeper into their answers helps me gauge whether they have a genuine grasp of the subject matter and can discuss potential alternatives. But I’m curious—what other methods have you found effective in identifying this issue? Let’s come together to address this challenge and ensure we’re bringing in candidates who truly have the knowledge and skills we need.
