INNOVATION PROJECT RESULT: City of Tallinn Pilots Waste Container Digitalization! 🌟 Exciting Innovation! 🌟 The City of Tallinn's #TestinTallinn framework recently piloted a smart sensor project for waste containers, collaborating with ibiot/Cleanhand OÜ and KeKo - Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department. Here are the highlights: 📊 Data-Driven Waste Collection: 100 public waste containers were digitalized, revealing that 85.7% were emptied at less than 50% capacity. This data suggests that fill level-based collection could save 50% in costs and reduce the environmental footprint. 🌍💰 🚀 Tech Advancements: The project led to the development of a new, weatherproof sensor with a double-capacity power source, lasting up to 5 years. 🌦️🔋 💡 Broader Applications: Knowledge from this project spurred the creation of sensors for monitoring wastewater and public toilet usage in Tallinn. 🏞️🚾 🤝 Future Collaborations: The success has piqued interest from neighboring countries, opening doors for further partnerships for Ibiot. 🌐🤝 #testintallinn #smarttallinn #WasteManagement #tallinnovation Project results and final report 👇 bit.ly/4bPiITA (in Estonian).
