How do you move a hotel from 4- to 5-stars? This is the question we as a Europcar Mobility Group leadership team asked Benoit STOLTZ at the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel during a strategy workshop this week. His answer was clear: it is not only about investments in facilities, jacuzzis or fancy swimming pools. The key is to intensively train every member of the team, starting with the top management, to better understand the premium/luxury customer expectations and be able to satisfy them. As ever, especially in a service industry, people make the difference. A useful inspiration, as part of our strategy is to move the Europcar brand towards a more premium positioning. #travel #premium #brand #people Accor Claire Charbit

I agree with most of what Rafat Ali states in the Skift article. There is often a disconnect between leadership strategies and what we learn when we have our ear to the ground and understand our customers wants and needs. This has always been my personal approach. #TravelTrade #Tourism https://lnkd.in/eGhfdMQN
