A project can have multiple ways of approaching and what you did five years ago is probably not what you do now with growth. Example: What looks to be a clean sink, is actually the start to a clean sink, I find it helpful to give myself space and time to tackle in a sense the project(mini) requires prep work on top of the work. Before you start this upcoming work week is there something you can make a project easier by adding a bit of prep time to? Can you loop in someone that can work on it together, Can you start with the framework i.e. how many slides you are shooting for first etc. #SmarterNotHarder Shout out BRITA Group

My journey at Made Snappy 360 over the past 8 months has been a blend of hard work, valuable insights, and immense enjoyment. Initially, stepping into a senior role just two years post-university was daunting, but I couldn't have joined a more supportive team. Here are my key takeaways: 🙏 "Don’t ask for permission, beg for forgiveness." This motto from our CEO, Mark, embodies the trust placed in senior staff to make informed decisions aligned with our business goals. 📖 Continuous Learning: At Made Snappy, no question is too simple. The culture here encourages learning and growth, without judgment. 😥 Embrace Failure: Not every idea will succeed, but each failure is a learning opportunity. It's about growth and innovation. 🤜 🤛 Mutual Respect: Our team is diverse in age, experience, and roles. This diversity, combined with mutual respect, creates a harmonious and communicative work environment. 😂 Have a Laugh: The office is filled with laughter and banter. It’s a fun and happy place where everyone looks forward to coming to work. 🏠 Flexible Work Environment: Early on, I was offered the option to work from home two days a week to save on travel. This flexibility was initially surprising but quickly became a seamless part of my work culture. In summary, these past 8 months have been incredible. The team, the customers, and the role are all perfect for me, and I’m excited to continue growing with the company.

When Plans Go Flat! 🛠️ Yesterday was supposed to be a busy one in Manchester—team meetings, interviews, and plenty to get stuck into. But right after dropping my daughter off at nursery, I heard a hiss… A flat tyre! Not quite the start I’d planned, but here’s what kept me on track: 1️⃣ Stay Calm & Prioritise: When things go wrong, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. I took a moment to breathe and then reprioritised my schedule. A clear mind helps us see what really matters in the moment. 2️⃣ Find Opportunity in Setbacks: Life has a funny way of testing our flexibility. A flat tyre might’ve delayed me, but it was a reminder that resilience is key in our field—and a little nudge to stay adaptable each day. 3️⃣ Celebrate Wins, Big and Small: I didn’t start the day as planned, but I did make it to Manchester! Sometimes, simply reaching the finish line (even if a bit late) is a win worth celebrating. Not the smoothest start, but ultimately a successful day with the team and candidates. As Staff, you begin to get assigned more tasks and responsibilities while balancing multiple client work at once. As such, it is important to find a way to organize your work in a way that works for you whether it be through a spreadsheet or sticky notes.
