𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙇𝙉𝙂 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙞𝙥𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙢𝙞𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨 QatarEnergy and ExxonMobil have requested U.S. regulatory approval to expand the workforce for the Golden Pass LNG pipeline project in Texas. The proposal seeks to increase the peak construction workforce from 500 to 650 workers and extend working hours to a 24/7 schedule. This adjustment aims to expedite the completion of key infrastructure, including compressor stations in Orange, Texas, and Starks, Louisiana, ensuring the project adheres to its timeline. The project is designed to transport up to 2.5 billion cubic feet per day of domestically sourced natural gas to the Golden Pass LNG export facilities. Significant developments include the installation of new compressor and metering stations and pipeline interconnects, which will enhance the terminal's connectivity to additional gas supplies. In related news, Golden Pass LNG is addressing contractor Zachry's bankruptcy by facilitating its structured exit from the project. Legal motions are in place to resume construction of the first train, with a final decision pending. Meanwhile, QatarEnergy, ExxonMobil, and partners McDermott International, Ltd and Chiyoda Corporation remain committed to advancing the project, which is currently 75% complete. https://lnkd.in/giWSMy6v
