Cannes airport and the French Riviera and its yearly basis scenario ⬎ From 14 to 26 May all premium and VIP travellers will have slots for their favorite event? Coming events: - Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes - Festival de Cannes 2024 - Monaco F1 Grand Prix This period of the year attracts increased air traffic and private jet movements to the region, especially to airports in proximity to Monaco, such as Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, LFMN and Cannes, LFMD. The event's popularity and the affluent nature of its attendees often lead to a surge in private jet and helicopter flights. These movements primarily consist of private jets, executive aircraft, and helicopters transporting VIPs, team members, sponsors, and other attendees to and from the event. Commercial airline schedules may also be adjusted to accommodate the increased demand. 👉 Would it be the time for them to adopt "eco friendly" practises during this event? ⭐ Carbon Offsetting ⭐ Fueling with SAF and .... 🤝 Flighsharing with JET AND MORE 🤝 1/ Initiate your flight weeks ahead. 2/ once your flight initiated, other like-minded travellers are in a position to join the flight. 🙌🏼 Less aircraft = less global CO2 emissions involved 🙌🏼 Less aircraft / passenger 🙌🏼 Acceptable price 🙌🏼 Networking before landing with like-minded passengers 🙌🏼 Last but not least. Permits and slots secured in advance so that you are sure to attend the event #MDF24 #Cannes2024 #monacogp #aviation #monacograndprix Picture took from Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur 's website

It was all things #bizav this week at the Air Charter Expo - ACE24 courtesy of London Biggin Hill Airport and The Air Charter Association. Here are our key takeaways from the conference sessions, which included among others Castle Air Aviation Group's Declan Lehane, WINGX founder Richard Koe, and David Winstanley MA FRAeS 🛩️ Global bizjet activity has slowed since 2022, but remains more than 20% above 2019 levels ✅ The convenience of bizjets vs. lagging airline service levels is still a factor in bolstering business aviation activity 🌎 In terms of bizjet activity by region in 2024 Aug-YTD, the North American market is weighing down global trends, but is still up 25% vs 2019 📈 The European wealthy population is growing slowly, but Europe still attracts a global UHNWI market 🩺 5% of business aviation flights in Europe are for recognisably medical purposes

As of December 3rd 2024, new codeshare agreements have been implemented between Air France, KLM, and Airlink (4Z). These new agreements offer the possibility to travel on AF or KL-marketed/4Z-operated flights to/from several destinations into South Africa right now, connecting via Johannesburg or CapeTown. In future also Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Eswatini (Swaziland), Madagascar, Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and St Helena will be offered. The 4Z fleet is composed of a mix of Embraer aircraft types. Flying Blue members can earn Miles and Experience Points (XP) on AF- or KL-marketed/4Z-operated flights. Many thanks for the hard work piecing this agreement together over the last weeks. A great addition to our Southern Africa network. Wilson Tauro Alpina Muhati Faziela Saheb Airlink
