I concluded the first mentoring session with Abdulmalek Alhithlool in وثبة | Wathba . We discussed our (leadership experiences) from the past, how we started, up to now, as well as our achievements and future aspirations.
The key points I noted:
1 - Everything has its time. It’s essential to know when to say no and when to say yes to opportunities. Selecting the right opportunities is crucial during an advanced stage in leadership and extracurricular activities.
2- As a successful leader, you must empower the leaders who will follow you so they can do better things and face new challenges. This is the essence of successful organizations.
3- Building relationships in various fields is important, as it can open up new horizons and experiences that can change you for the better. These relationships are often found in leadership and mentoring programs like وثبة | Wathba .
4- Ensure that your future goals align with Saudi Vision 2030 and strive to achieve them early on. It’s also important to remain flexible at times.
