Our last article ( https://lnkd.in/gDiPU6tN ) introduced the growth of GNSS correction services as an important trend to watch this year. These services enable centimeter-level positioning accuracy (an astonishing 100x improvement over the meter-level accuracy of standard GNSS). Our next articles will dive deeper into this, namely to cover what exactly are GNSS correction services and the big changes since the emergence and rapid growth of #GEODNET. The article is organized into two parts and provides insights on each topic. We look forward to sharing it soon. During WP 4A there was a discussion within SWG 4A1d (Revisions to Recommendation ITU-R S.1503, S.1428 and BO.1443) on non-GSO constellation satellite selection algorithms and constraints on beam pointing. One point made was that intra-system interference constraints within a non-GSO system can limit how close antennas at a gateway can point to different satellites from the same constellation and also beams at each satellite point to different ESs. These two angles are shown in this figure as the theta and phi angles. We have recently updated the Tracking Strategies in Visualyse Professional to allow these two angles to be included in the Custom Selection Method dialog.
