TARGET-X’s Post

🏆 The TARGET-X 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 has officially ended. A big thank you to all the participants who submitted their proposals. After an extensive multi-step evaluation process, several SMEs and consortia were selected to receive funding. These innovative projects are now advancing with the support of their mentors in developing their use cases. 🔎 One of the funded projects is 𝟓𝐆-𝐄𝐐𝐂𝐓 by the company TRYGONS S.A., which focuses on automating quality control in composite parts manufacturing. By leveraging ultra-high-definition and thermal cameras, 5G-EQCT aims to detect surface and subsurface defects, such as air inclusions, with unparalleled precision—going beyond the capabilities of human vision. Currently, the project is working on acquiring essential hardware and establishing a test bench for sample testing and data collection. The goal is to develop a cost-effective final prototype that will be a game-changer for the broader manufacturing sector.   We are excited to see the progress of 𝟓𝐆-𝐄𝐐𝐂𝐓 and its contribution to the future of quality control!
