Good policy and good elected representatives equals good outcomes. In this election, we have the serious choice to continue a healthy democracy that is working for all the people, equitably and caringly, towards a future that will boost everyone and not exclude or harm others. The relationship between municipalities and provincial governments can be complex, with tensions arising from differing interests and priorities. In summary, while municipalities play a crucial role in local governance, their powers and existence are ultimately determined by provincial legislation.
