Unsure what to wear to a job fair? Business attire, casual clothes, or in between? I think a safe bet is to wear business casual. As a student or early career professional, maybe you don't have full business attire - and that's okay! I wouldn't recommend casual clothes either. No jeans! You might end up having a great conversation with a recruiter. And if you do, that is your FIRST IMPRESSION. First impressions matter, so take advantage of the opportunity. Unsure what to wear? ✅ Plain t-shirt or blouse, avoiding crop tops or labels/designs ✅ Neutral pants or khakis, dress pants if you have them! ✅ Blazer or cardigan if you have access to one ✅ Loafers, flats, neutral running shoes (more acceptable these days!) It doesn't have to be a huge change from what you normally wear. But a few simple changes can show your effort, and that is recognized. That will set you apart! #CareerFair #FanshaweCollege #FalconAwesome #DressForSuccess #BusinessCasual #Professionalism

For the first one, I would go so much as say at least a polo or button shirt, with the plain T underneath. And if you can, yes to a blazer, to help dress up the outfit. Jeans may be challenging, but it is possible to find styles that transition well to business casual (plus blazer to help!) - darker colour would work best. I would also add to make sure your clothes are in good condition and clean - nothing that looks like it has seen better days, and maybe avoid looking like you only went shopping recently for the occasion (your outfit should have had some break-in already). I know opinions may vary, but just my thoughts.
