Excited to share that I’ve finished the Research Ethics course based on the Tri-Council Policy Statement (TCPS 2: CORE 2022) from the Panel on Research Ethics! Ethics are the cornerstone of all research, and this course highlighted the importance of respect, justice, and minimizing harm in studies involving human participants. It emphasized informed consent and the protection of vulnerable populations. Applying these ethics ensures that research is both impactful and responsible. Next Friday from The Chicago School in partnership with Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis: Ethics I: Foundations of Medical Ethics and Basic Ethical Principles for #Hypnosis Practice. https://lnkd.in/epa9VyGf The workshop will include a discussion of #ClinicalSupervision, consultation, and #ContinuingEducation as tools for quality of care. The presenters (Donald Moss and Barbara McCann) will describe examples of incidents that trigger #ethics complaints, and describe the process recommended for taking action when professionals violate ethical principles or best practices. The presenters will examine why professional ethics codes are necessary. The workshop will include a discussion of specific guidelines for #ClinicalHypnosis practice, such as scope of practice, competence, entry level competence, the informed consent process, privileged communication, guidelines on dual/multiple relationships, and questions of touch, privacy, and respect.

Last week, The University of Bonn, EUREC Office - European Network of Research Ethics Committees, EARMA, and VUmc School of Medical Sciences teams of the #RE4GREEN consortium convened for a joint meeting of the irecs EU project and EUREC Office - European Network of Research Ethics Committees network hosted by Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University. I am thrilled to share that I have successfully completed the course of Ethics and Human Subject Protection: A Comprehensive Introduction from ACRP - Association of Clinical Research Professionals. This certificate has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to understand the critical importance of ethics in clinical research and how to navigate ethical considerations in this field.
