All of us here at Tattered Cover are proud and excited to announce that our sale has been approved by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado and we have completed our transaction with Barnes & Noble. Please note that we will continue to operate independently while maintaining the distinctive identity that has made Tattered Cover an iconic part of Colorado’s literary and cultural fabric. No stores are to close and all existing commitments, including the Friends of Tattered Cover benefits and Tattered Cover gift cards, will be honored. Our booksellers are working hard this week and next week to implement updated technology that will improve our book inventory and customer service at all four stores. Installing these upgrades will briefly affect store hours and service and there will be a period of interruption online to our website, TatteredCover.com. This week and next week’s temporary store closures are as follows: COLFAX: Closed Wednesday, July 31st, Thursday, August 1st, & closing at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 5th ASPEN GROVE: Closed Wednesday, July 31st, Thursday, August 1st, & Friday, August 2nd STANLEY MARKETPLACE: Closed Wednesday, July 31st, Thursday, August 1st, & closing at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 8th UNION STATION: Closed Wednesday, July 31st, Thursday, August 1st, & closing at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 8th We wholeheartedly thank each and every one of you for your continued patronage as we venture into this new chapter. Planning a trip to Keswick? Get yourself down to Keswick Collectables on St. John's Street. They have a carefully curated collection of vinyl, plus some seriously lovely antiques all up for reasonable prices. Not only that, since November Heather has a new card machine! I dropped in out of the blue after a meeting next door. Turned out Heather had a merchant statement to hand and a few minutes to spare for a review. Like many business owners Heather had "if it's not broken, don't fix it" mentality, but in the card payments world failing to review your solution regularly will often mean unnecessarily overpaying. The longer you leave it, the more you'll be overpaying because industry prices have been on a downward trend for a long time. Have you been with your card payments provider for more than year without a review? Get in touch! We'll take a look and I'll break my findings down nice and clearly. If you like the solution I put together for you, we'll complete an application and get you a new machine at a better price with the top rated payments provider in the industry. It's that easy!

Nestled between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is Small Business Saturday, a shopping holiday designed to spotlight locally owned small businesses. This, November 30th marks the 15th anniversary of Small Business Saturday, started by American Express in 2010 to highlight the role of small businesses in our communities. The National Retail Federation expects holiday sales to increase 2.5 to 3.5 percent from last year, to as much as $989 billion. Supporting Main Street businesses on this day, and throughout the holiday season, not only offers the potential for a boost in sales but significantly contributes to the goodwill value of businesses and the communities they serve. https://bit.ly/3B2NfAk

Kinder Bueno Mini Bag https://wتww.iننnstacaنTrump's deficit spending was the worst of all presidents in the history. It was because of Trump's reckless spending that caused high inflation last time. Biden/Harris finally got inflation down to 2 percent range. And interest rates are finally coming down. As long as we keep reckless bankruptcy king Trump away from White House, we will get better and better. People should understand Trump will not care if U.S. goes bankrupt. Last time when we had budget impasse, Trump even said let us not pay back the U.S. debts and see what will happen. Trump’s companies have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection many times. Trump’s Taj Mahal opened in April 1990 in Atlantic City, but six months later defaulted on interest payments to bondholders as his finances went into a tailspin. In July 1991, Trump’s Taj Mahal filed for bankruptcy. He could not keep up with debts on two other Atlantic City casinos, and those two properties declared bankruptcy in 1992. A fourth property, Plaza Hotel in New York, declared bankruptcy in 1992 after amassing debt. Two more bankruptcies filed after 1992. Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts filed for bankruptcy again in 2004, after accruing about $1.8 billion in debt. Trump Entertainment Resorts also declared bankruptcy in 2009. Trump caused U.S. deficits into record big hole already. Another 4 years with Trump, we may just get hyperinflation, even higher interest rates and U.S. may even be broke just like some Central America https://lnkd.in/dgytPxFp
