What impact does Light Design have on exhibit design? Light Design plays an essential role in exhibit design, profoundly influencing the experience of artistic exhibitions. Every detail, including the lighting, contributes to creating an atmosphere that captures and engages visitors. When designing exhibition spaces, Lighting Designers work to optimize illumination, considering factors such as the preservation of artworks, color rendering, the surrounding environment, and the nature of the exhibited pieces. Light not only illuminates but also guides the viewer through the art and facilitates its understanding. For this reason, conducting a thorough study when illuminating an Exhibition Space is fundamental in order to give life to ever-new and innovative solutions. - #WeExhibit #WikiWeex #ArtisintheProcess #OurServices #LightDesign #ExhibitionDesign #LightDesigners #LightDesigns #VisitorsExperience #VisitorsEngagement

Choosing the right lighting for museums and galleries is crucial for both the preservation and presentation of artwork. One of the best options available is the framing spotlight. Here’s why: Precise Illumination: Framing spotlights allow curators to highlight specific pieces without spilling light onto adjacent artworks, creating a focused and dramatic effect that draws attention to the artwork. Conservation-Friendly: These spotlights can be adjusted to emit light at levels that minimize UV exposure, protecting delicate artworks from damage over time. Energy Efficiency: Modern framing spotlights use LED technology, which is more energy-efficient and has a longer lifespan compared to traditional lighting, reducing both energy costs and maintenance frequency. Versatility: They offer adjustable beam angles and light intensity, allowing for customizable lighting setups that can adapt to different exhibitions and artworks. Enhanced Viewing Experience: By reducing glare and shadows, framing spotlights ensure that visitors experience the true colors and details of the artwork, enhancing their overall viewing experience. Incorporating framing spotlights into your museum or gallery can significantly improve the way art is displayed and preserved. It’s an investment that pays off in the form of both aesthetic appeal and conservation benefits. #MuseumLighting #GalleryLighting #FramingSpotlight #ArtConservation #LEDLighting #ArtExhibition #CuratorialPractice #LightingDesign #MuseumConservation #ArtGallery #ArtPresentation #MuseumTechnology #LightingInnovation #CulturalHeritage #ExhibitionDesign

Have you been to an art museum or gallery? #RotaryPresents Lynette Scott from Artlink shared some powerful insights to dispell the misunderstandings about appreciating art. Art is too expensive - not true. Not everyone needs a Van Gogh to own art that means something to you Art expertise is a requirement - your engagement with art is your own experience Art should be an investment - art doesn't have to increase in monetary value for it to be valuable to you. Art can enrich in emotional, mental, and spiritual ways that are far more valuable than how much you can sell it for in 20 years. Art collections must be big - what art does in your life is up to you. A couple of pieces can be as valuable to you as a large collection can be to professional collector. Art must match your decor - trust your instincts. As a professional in design, Lynette advises that decor doesn't have to match. Just needs to mean something to you. Start your collection by listening to yourself, asking questions, and connecting with the artist and their art. A join the community of peers appreciating art at one of Artlink's many events.

"Art is too modern for my space." I once overheard this during an art exhibition. I was going through the gallery, admiring the pieces, when someone nearby made this comment. It took me off guard. There was lovingly created work all around us, but someone decided it didn't fit "their space." It made me stop and think: was it true? Could art be "too modern"? But as I thought about it more, I started to see the bright side. That belief—that certain art does not belong in our spaces—is simply a prevalent misperception. Art is not designed to be categorized as "too modern" or "too traditional." It's intended to spark a connection and offer life and energy to any place, regardless of style. That day, I understood that many people carry this belief unknowingly. They limit themselves by believing that art must conform to certain criteria in order to be shown in their homes or offices. But the truth is that art affects spaces, and more crucially, our perception of them. It doesn't have to be anything other than what appeals to us. So, the next time someone believes art is "too modern" for their area, they should question if it is the work itself or a notion that is holding them back. #ArtInSpace #ModernArt #ArtMisconceptions #TransformYourSpace #ArtForEveryone #CreativeSpaces #ArtBeliefs #InteriorDesign #ArtLovers #ArtConnection #ArtForHome #ArtInspiration
