We are excited to share an a noteworthy accomplishment from our most recent project – a 30’’ pipeline In-Line Inspection achieved in collaboration with our universally recognized partners, T.D. Williamson. Pipelines are the fundamental component of several industries, therefore keeping them in good condition is critical. Please join me in Perth on 15 October where I will present the paper which is a result of the joint effort of esteemed co-authors Azzad Hafiz Abdul Latif, Dzulfadly Johare, and Igor Varaksin which summarizes a more than decade of experience in flow evaluations in the region. The paper provides an overview of the current state of the technology of injection flow profiling using temperature data and proposes the methodology for assessing the injection conformance of multizone offshore injectors with complex completions utilizing high-precision temperature logging data. The proposed approach could be replicated in other fields in the region and globally which have similar operating conditions and completion configurations. The application is not only limited to the processing of high-precision temperature logging data but can also be used for DTS acquisition planning, processing, and interpretation.
