We all need some margin in our work lives. That's why I recommend scheduling 25-, 50-, or 80-minute meetings or calls instead of the typical back-to-back appointments that dominate many of our work calendars. Creating this bit of space during the day will also help your meetings start on time. There's even a setting in Outlook to automate it. Go to Settings > Calendar and click on the "Shorten duration for all events" configuration button. #meetings #outlook

15 minute “stand up” meetings are terrific … touch base, update, align … and leave!

Great idea. That's just what I need - some automated way to protect me from myself.

Agree 100% Tim. Been doing that for several years now and love the idea. The hard part, I’ve found, is sticking to ending the meeting at the predetermined time :) If I’m not careful, meetings will still go to the bottom or top of the hour.
