In the depths of the enchanting Wuyi Mountains, one can find not just the imprints of nature, but also an enduring cultural legacy of bamboo weaving, tea making and ancient cliff carvings. Xie Hongxing's bamboo weaving technique is a celebration of nature, while the region's tea-making tradition embodies natural harmony. Meanwhile, more than 400 cliff carvings, shaped by Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, preserve centuries of wisdom. No wonder ancient philosopher Zhu Xi made this place his home for decades, drawing inspiration from the mountains' serenity to develop his teachings on harmony between man and nature.

The most awesome force of Nature I’ve ever encountered 🌊 This was easily a highlight moment from my most recent trip to Oahu. Standing at the base of such a formidable force, metric tons of water pouring over the side of the cliff every second, was a sensation to behold. I emphasize sensation rather than just sight because it was a feeling. I could hardly believe what I was seeing, but the sound of the crashing waves and the touch of the ever-present mist on my skin was a gift from the Divine. Getting to experience this was a literal gift from God. This video perfectly encapsulates what I was feeling, as I just kept videoing when I rounded the corner and saw this beast for the first time. It’s pretty incomprehensible to see that much water raging right in front of your eyes. There’s a beauty to it, a respect for its power, and there’s an innate gratitude to God for creating such a spectacle. I truly will never forget this moment, a moment of validation of one of the many reasons Oahu is my favorite place in this world. It’s a land of so many wonders, and it allows you to experience things you just can’t experience anywhere else. Life slows down here, and yet adventure is always on the horizon. It’s unexplainable by words, but it’s tangible when you’re there. I love being spontaneous. But lately I have found it more difficult. Enroute back home today rather than sticking to my planned route decided to do spontaneous. I know… crazy! Why? What made me take a detour? Well… Tony Robbins once said, "The only impossible journey is the one you never begin." Soooo… when I noticed a sign for Stonehenge I engaged my spontaneous side! I'd heard about this iconic site, but never visited. Curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to let my adventurous side take the wheel. Even though it was twenty minutes out of my way, I couldn’t resist the detour. And boy, was it worth every extra mile. Standing before Stonehenge, I was struck by its true beauty and the enigma surrounding it. This ancient monument isn't just a pile of rocks; it’s a testament to human ingenuity and persistence. It reminded me that our actions can leave a lasting impact, sometimes in ways we can't even fathom. This spontaneous visit was more than just a sightseeing trip. It was a powerful reminder that we, as humans, have the potential to create something enduring, something that can inspire awe and wonder for generations to come. #politics Nikki Haley, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, in her talk at the Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C. told the audience the UN, an institution founded by the United States and the United Kingdom after World War II, to supersede the League of Nations after World War I, is ineffective. The world, United Nations, and international law since the Iraq War waged by the United States and George W. Bush’s coalition of the willing in 2003 is at another Wilsonian League of Nations moment in history. I have had a long brush with the UN in my career. Haley is correct as to the UN’s ineffectiveness, besides of course its elitism, for the following reason. United Nations is not a world government. Most UN staff and leaders themselves do not understand this. They think a world government is needed and the UN is that. This is why the UN is not effective. A world government is not needed. UN is a forum to make and carry out the due processes of international law which then must be ratified by sovereign individual member country governments for the international laws to be effective. UN is akin to a global commons or a global legislature, and a global judiciary. The global executive is still the sovereign member nation. No sovereign member nation ever needs to give up its sovereignty to be a UN member. The UN does not need a military of its own. To execute, for example, the judgment of the UN judiciary such as the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague, judgments under international law similar to judgments by domestic court systems in any country, the world needs a coordinated global law enforcement mechanism which works with the domestic law enforcement mechanisms of its sovereign members. If any signatory member country citizens violate international law, the violators of the law must be held accountable to execute the sentence as in any domestic judiciary and law enforcement. If countries do not like this but like to think invading their neighbor or a world war or a nuclear war is a legal right under international law and not not waging war but dialog to resolve conflicts, then it is akin to saying I am going to steal my neighbor’s house and wife as my legal right when she does not want to leave her husband of her free will for me. Isn’t this all of military history in large measure? Share the spoils of pillage and rape with the muscle power of the strong man? Then every pretty woman on earth would be a part of Elon Musk’s and Arnie’s harem even when her heart is with her Romeo. Anglo-American world order says to the woman “stay with your Romeo in marriage but also be my mistress and bear my children too.” Russian world order wants to primitively steal the neighbor’s house and wife and kill the children. Both are coercive to the woman in question. Nobody is asking her what she prefers or giving her marriage and family counseling. War, military and economic, is tribalism. The point is civilization.
