"That doesn't work for me. I think you should change it." This bit of feedback came in from one of our Mycentsability subscribers about a piece of content they had accessed. How we had chosen to display it just wasn't working for them. It wasn't as simple to use as it could be. So here's what we did... 👇 We changed it! Simple as that. 😎 It'll be done this week. And in the process, I reminded myself of one of the things I love about start-ups. The need for change isn't a bug, it's a feature! 💥 Because #1 - change can happen quickly, like a chameleon. We don't need to run decisions up the chain. We just make change if it makes sense. 🤔 And #2, when you're in on the ground floor, like this person was with Mycentsability, you've got a certain amount of pull to guide development. Which is just what they did. 🎉 I've seen way too many platforms that, as they age, start to get stuck in their ways. It becomes difficult to influence change and then it takes forever to get done. This phase we're in is awesome. Where, if someone has a suggestion, we can test and deliver a solution in hours. That type of responsiveness is something I want our team to retain. Always. No matter how many subscribers we have. Because there's a difference between people saying "I can't BELIEVE they did that 😫" and "I can't believe they did THAT! 😍" when it comes to the impact we want to make.
