Great article by Team Expert Ron Friedman, Ph.D., on how to build trust for High Performing Teams. Seeing conflict as opportunity rather than a threat, seeing a bottom up knowledge sharing and consistent communication are only three things mentioned here: One thing becomes clear, it is not about following a step by step process. It is a living, co-created environment that holds each other together through one tool: Dialog "Ultimately, the precise prompts your team uses to establish collaboration norms matter less than engaging in a dialogue on how you will work together." Does your team talk? Happy reading. #teamship #teamdevelopment #highperformingteams

Ever wondered why some teams excel while others struggle? After reading Ron Friedman's insightful article in Harvard Business Review, "How High-Performing Teams Build Trust," I've reflected on my team’s own trust-building strategies: 🔹 Psychological Safety: We prioritize an environment where every voice is valued, ensuring team members feel safe to express ideas and concerns. 🔹 Open Communication: Transparency is our cornerstone, promoting a culture where information is shared freely and inclusively. 🔹 Shared Credit: As leaders, we consistently recognize and celebrate the collective efforts of our team, reinforcing a sense of shared accomplishment. Trust is the invisible thread that weaves our team's fabric. It's built day by day, interaction by interaction. P.S. What's one action you've taken to build trust in your team? Share in one word! #TrustInTeams #Leadership #PsychologicalSafety #OpenCommunication #HarvardBusinessReview

I continuously search for articles, suggestions, and advice on how to lead high-performing teams. Ron Friedman ’s article stood out with a few lessons I am reviewing this morning: 1. Don’t leave collaboration to chance: Successful teams talk about how they plan on working together to achieve their goals. 2. Keep colleagues in the loop: Transparency helps promote creativity, performance, and profitability, and ultimately, trust. 3. Share credit: Teams who create a norm of reciprocity and appreciation increase the trust in one another. 4. Don’t shy away from disagreements: Disagreements can either be an opportunity or a threat, and teams who saw them as an opportunity were more successful. 5. Proactively address tension: Embracing a growth mindset when it comes to colleague relationships is vital to increasing trust among teams. https://lnkd.in/ef6mJchY. #highperformingteams #trust #leadership

This article breaks it down - what we need to know and how to turn it around: • Plan Your Collaboration • Transparency and Communication • Celebrate as a Team • Believe Disagreements Make Us Better • Face Tension Head-On https://lnkd.in/eZ4aBpVF I’m going to put a few slides together to help discuss and embed these principals within a team – DM if you would like a copy. #Leadership #Trust #HighPerformanceTeams #Collaboration #Teamwork
