The good doctor perhaps needs to follow me around for a few days. 🤣 There is applied and then there is applied with brakes. I would like to introduce the engineering world to these folks. Hold their feet to the fire, as engineers, designers and manufacturers do on a daily basis. Proof is in the output product. Along with all the proofs either already learned or understood in a location for retrieval, but all can apply, and have the idea work. Academia is great for starters. Waving the same grains of sand is just moving the sand around. It’s the same sand. The sand won’t change until the mentality shifts. Then the sand can become a glass. Otherwise it’s just a pile of almost useless sand. What can you do with your sand pile?

PG - Urban Foundation Studio 2024-25 Student Work at IDPT-SCET Cities are loud, crowded, concrete jungles, right? But they’re also places full of energy, where great thinkers, artists, and leaders come together and give birth to new and exciting creative movements and ideas. Pedagogy of Urban Foundation Studio at Institute of Design, Planning & Technology (IDPT - SCET) is to learn what makes city culture unique? And how urban areas respond to problems and events. Urban Foundation Studio uses the tools of sociology, economics, and other social sciences to study city life, government, and services. In this studio Students learn how city dwellers live and behave. Students will also study the problems they face. The studio aims to develop spatial and objective design skills relevant for the urban condition through the solving of real-life city design problems that require solutions inspired by the Indian context. Students work in physical and digital media to construct spatial models and further their graphic and verbal communication skills in conveying abstract spatial concepts. The PG Section Institute of Design, Planning & Technology (IDPT - SCET) at SARVAJANIK UNIVERSITY conducted Foundation Studio from July-December '24 at Surat (Old City) and the semester-end juries was conducted on this friday for the Students of Master of Planning - Urban & Regional Planning and Master of Architecture - Urban Design. Here is the #vastugyaan for you today! 🔑Vastu Tips for Your Main Door🏡 The main door is more than just an entryway to your home—it's a gateway to positive energy, prosperity, and well-being. According to Vastu Shastra, the ancient Indian science of architecture, the positioning and design of your main door play a crucial role in influencing the energy that enters your space. Here are some essential Vastu tips for your main door: 1. Ideal Direction: The most auspicious directions for your main door are north, east, or northeast. These directions are believed to bring in positivity and success. 2. Cleanliness and Decoration: A clean and well-decorated entrance is inviting and ensures that good energy flows into your home. Consider adding a toran, potted plants, or a rangoli design to enhance the aesthetic appeal. 3. Doormat Placement: Placing a clean doormat at your entrance is more than just a hygiene practice; it helps keep negative energy at bay and symbolizes a warm welcome. 4. Avoid Mirrors: Ensure there are no mirrors directly opposite your main door. Mirrors can reflect energy out of your home, which might lead to missed opportunities. 5. Smooth Functioning: A smoothly operating door that opens without creaking symbolizes that opportunities can enter your life effortlessly. Regular maintenance is key! Implementing these simple Vastu tips can significantly impact the flow of energy into your home, creating a harmonious environment for you and your family. ✨ You can also get a personalized Vastu consultation for your space.
