This weekend I'm going to fly out to Winnipeg. Go watch poop bombers Bombers game next week go watch football, watch the is giving me the tickets, getting me there and VIP. I'm going to be VIP. I'm going down 20 pig in two weeks to watch my first FL. You sound pretty excited about that because I've never watched football game in real life. I like it here. I know when I'm old and be gone all day. You can go hunting and go camp anywhere you want. You can do whatever you want out there. Waarom? Mijn hoopt ze voor al mijn dochters is te. Become engineers into whatever they want to do. They, like I said, they're pretty smart and I like to go to school for sports or like to do. Like to grow up to play sports or something like that. Being an athlete, first comes volleyball and then how can we? Hi, my name is Andrew Olinger, I'm from Rincon. And this is the school that I went to from grade one to grade 4. The most famous person that's been to the school is Jordan Tattoo besides me. Behind me is Jason to me, which is very windy and very cold. Like it's expensive to fly stuff up north so you can fly to A to another town to closest one would be Red Lake. So that's 35 minute airtime. But in winter? They punch in a winter Rd. Lake fishing over here. Like, I used to go sit over there with my friends. We'd come walking over here, yeah, like, covered in the fire. Majority of the things we get up here is either shipped by plane or they come here through the barge every summer. There's no roads down South to the north. I should say is like for truth and reconciliation for the children that. Didn't get to go home after being sent to residential schools and it's also too late. Honor. The kids that did make it, but like quite some. Some trauma with them. They just come and take whatever they want. High school, if you're holding up, they'll take you away. They will let you come home until the season is done. Sometimes you stay out there during the Christmas. So you don't see them till late June when you're done. Sometimes have. Like talks we have. I think it's called play meanings or like something for elders to like speak then what they went through. It makes me sad and it. It makes me sad tearing what happened to them, what they had to go through during residential schools and how they had to grow up with it. Like not really talking about it until now. They look after the kids nowadays. This is by our school, so that's where they bring their gatherings when they want to talk to her. Like elder elders talk about their stories. Yeah, this is an improvement. That way people will know. It was an adorable I took medicine flight school program that's fully funded in Rankin Inlet and it caught my attention so I applied when I first like, got into a plane. I felt like a little kid again because my dream was like right in front of my face. I just wanted to be a pilot. I went to a school. 2 two years ago in pickle lake 9 weeks Chevy equipment how to be a welder and how the fixed the heavy equipment. I would like pillaring my language more I always like. Try and copy with my parents is saying or something like that. Like trying to remember what they're saying. Always asking my grandkids and my parents how to say some certain certain words spelling I keep forgetting. So everybody started, they could get jobs up here and it was starting to get more people involved up here. Slowly but surely, wheels turning. But it's still turning off to Moncton next month to get my commercial pilot. And my plan is to fly commercial. And me and my classmates created a path for our people, US influence in the North as well. They're going to know that they can do it as well. And I'm glad, I hope I get to be a role model to many kids in the North.
