I’m over “women in web3” panels. I’m all for empowering women, any maybe this is an unpopular personal opinion, but we need to change the script on 'women in tech' panels. Instead of topics focusing solely on 'women empowerment,' let’s allow these women to discuss #crypto and #blockchain innovation and inspiring ideas without a label attached. An all-women panel that dives deep into these topics is proof in itself that women belong in every room, driving critical conversations and shaping industries. Did you know: - Female-led startups deliver twice as much per dollar invested (BCG, 2018) - Women-led companies are 25% less likely to go bankrupt (Journal of Business Ethics, 2020). - Companies with women leaders see a 21% increase in profitability (McKinsey, 2020) Yet: Female-led startups receive just 2% of venture capital funding, while male-founded startups dominate the rest (Crunchbase, 2023) 😮 So yes, we need to highlight women, but let’s stop talking about WHY women are strong and start showcasing HOW we’re driving change - walk the walk, don’t just talk the talk 🙏💛 Shout out to all the women leaders in the space, absolutely crushing it, building incredible companies, who are PERFECTLY capable of sharing valuable insight on panels!
