Speaking at the recent Diversity in Tech Roadshow, our co-CEO Karen Blake made it clear that UK organisations need to do more when it comes to ensuring underrepresented groups are accessing upskilling and reskilling programmes. As our latest Diversity in Tech report found: 😡 Only 14% of senior tech role holders are ethnic minorities 😡 Only 20% of software engineers are women or non-binary 😡 Only 9% of tech employees are from lower socio-economic backgrounds As advances in technology are changing the demand for skills at an accelerated pace, UK organisations have an opportunity to attract and retain diverse talent, otherwise they run the risk of being left behind. Read our latest Diversity in Tech report for advice and best practices on growing a highly skilled and diverse workforce. https://hubs.la/Q02qXCMY0 #TechDiversityMatters #DiversityAndInclusion Powered by BAE Systems Digital Intelligence

Data from the 2024 Tech Talent Charter's Diversity in Tech report shows that only 9% of tech employees are reported to be from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. With the tech sector rapidly on the rise in the UK, the divide between those who are hired is still an issue! However, it is our mission to change that. Whilst collaborating with the biggest employers in the digital world. And helping underrepresented young people launch careers in digital. With 80% of our candidates in digital roles. Our goal is to get that number HIGHER! #WYKDIGITAL #digitalmarketingcourse #digitalskills #BreakingDigitalBarriers
